OUR PARTNERS

Without the exceptional contribution of its donors, as well as funding and trust organizations, the Migrant Justice Clinic would not have seen the light of day and would not be able to carry out its projects to help migrants with precarious status.

FINANCIAL PARTNERS AND DONORS

The Board of Directors and the work team warmly thank the donors: Ms. Davida Lecompte, Judge Philippe Bélanger and Mr. Ron Lawee — as well as our financial partners — for their trust, their support and their valuable collaboration:

COLLABORATING PARTNERS

The MJC has the pleasure and privilege of collaborating with highly qualified individuals and organizations committed to addressing the challenges of access to justice for migrants.

In constant collaboration with the Welcome Collective, the MJC was able to start online workshops, which quickly became very popular: the Welcome Collective broadcasts CJM's activities monthly to hundreds of families! In addition, the Welcome Collective continues to be an important support in the context of consolidating the clinic's services.

The Léo-Cormier Foundation was an essential partner during the start of our components 1 and 3 in particular: our collaboration made it possible to set up the funding of rights education projects that benefit MSP people.

Doctors of the World has been a key partner since the very beginning in providing our services to people with precarious status who often have very little contact with other organizations.

The Saint-Laurent Social Pediatrics Centre, Au cœur de l'enfance, and the CJM have developed a key partnership so that families with precarious status who frequent the organization can benefit from our legal services.

The CJM has developed collaborations with Legal Aid Montreal/Laval, the notaries of Alepin Gauthier Avocats Inc., notary Chantal Crevier and Ouellet Nadon et associés in order to meet the needs of the people represented by the CJM who are dealing with issues in related areas of law, thus helping to realize our holistic approach.

The CERDA Research Centre has quickly become an important collaborator in the development of quality legal content and the dissemination of our legal information activities.

The Quebec Society for Legal Information (SOQUIJ) also contributes to the mission of the Migrant Justice Clinic by offering it access to the SOQUIJ Portal as part of its policy for free services for legal clinics and in continuity with its mission to improve the accessibility, quality and speed of justice for the benefit of litigants.
