Migrant Justice Clinic

ABOUT THE CLINIC
Our mission
CJM is a non-profit community legal clinic. We defend the civil, political and socio-economic rights of migrants with precarious status, by offering holistic legal services and supporting the mobilizations of their communities.
Our vision
The MJC upholds the principle that a holistic approach is best suited to address the complexity and multidimensional impacts of the migration of people with precarious status.
For this reason, the clinic's activities have three components that allow us to address migration issues on several fronts.
Specifically, our work includes: (1) public legal education and information, (2) legal representation and psychosocial support, and (3) community organizing and collective advocacy.
This vision is supported by the entire MJC team as well as the board of directors.
Thank you
The Clinic for Migrant Justice is a collective work, the fruit of the labor of many committed, generous and dedicated people who believed in and supported the clinic's project.
If we are here today it is thanks to the contribution of each of them, and it is with immense gratitude that we thank :
The founding members : Mylène Barrière, Anne-Marie Bellemare, Hélène Bérubé, Camille Bonenfant-Martin, Marissa Doucet, Arthur Durieux, Amine Hamdi, Annick Legault, Pierre Lemay and Maryse Poisson.
